A groundbreaking was held Thursday for the Rice Lake Aquatics and Recreation Center west of the current pool and Hilltop Elementary. Participating were representatives of the Rice Lake Aquatics and Recreation Center board, Rice Lake Area School District, Rice Lake Chamber, Boys and Girls Clubs of Barron County and construction manager V&S Construction.
